  Resignation - not that it matters at all, but ....

  i just wanted those kind-hearted, those gentle, those friendly ones of you to know that i wrote my letter of resignation as an elder yesterday, after having served in that capasity for 24 years.. those wishing to call me or any society "bastard", "sucker", "braindead" or anything, as they have before, i would ask please to refrain from that.

  other comments would be welcome.. somehow, it is the armstrong quote about "one small step for man, one giant leap for humankind" (approximately) the other way around, "one giant leap for (a) man, one hardly noticeable step for humankind".. ok, that was that.

  W. busy 'restoring dignity to the White House'

  just a reminder to all those partisan politics folks that both republicans and democrats are dirty, lying thieves through and through.

  conservatives enjoyed piling on clinton and getting all frothy about how he dishonered the dignity of the white house.

  then george w. promised to 'restore dignity to the white house' and instead of viewing this as a typical political lie to get elected, conservatives bought it hook, line, and sinker.

  W has restored dignity to the White House, it'll take years to get over that liberal, leftist, amoral schmuck Clinton. Seeker is just another knee jerk liberal looking for some gotcha thing on Bush. So far nothing illegal or unethical has been shown from Bush's dealings with Enron. Even most of the media says that. It's just the screaming lefties that are baying. Waxman! What a partisan, Marxist wacko he is!

  Great movie, I thought it was very true to the book within the limits of what they can do with a movie. Sure there was a little sop to romance, but you can actually get that out of one of the Appendixes to the book about the relationship between Aragorn and Arwen.

  Yeah, I've read Bored of the Rings, I liked it as well, especially the ballhog from Villanova.
